The International Symposium on Fish Endocrinology (ISFE) was held for the first time in 1988 in Edmonton (Canada). Subsequent ISFE meetings were held in Saint Malo (France, 1992), Hakodate (Japan, 1996), Seattle (USA, 2000), Castellón (Spain, 2004) and Calgary (Canada, 2008).
The 7th ISFE will be held in Buenos Aires City, the capital and largest city of Argentina. Buenos Aires is one of the world's biggest cities in which, including the suburbs, there are approximately 15,000,000 inhabitants. Visitors will be fascinated by Buenos Aires´ environment. The various neighborhoods all have their distinct personalities, there is a wide range of shopping and cultural activities and the people are warm and hospitable.
